The trustees advise and support the association. The chairperson is appointed by the Board of Liquid Democracy e.V.

Dr. Marcus M. Dapp

Dr. Marcus M. Dapp works as an IT strategist for the City of Munich on various open source related IT topics (open source, open standards, open government, open data). He has initiated the e-participation and open data project MOGDy (Munich Open Government Day).


Alvar C. H. Freude

Alvar C.H. Freude graduated in Communication Design and works as a freelance software developer, author, consultant and trainer. As an expert, he is a member of the German Parliament’s enquête-commission Internet and digital society’.


Franz-Reinhard Habbel

Franz-Reinhard Habbel is the speaker of the Deutschen Städte- und Gemeindebundes (DStGB) in Berlin. His assignments are political basic issues and communication. Furthermore, he is leader of the Think Tank „DStGB-InnovatorsClub“, which deals with future-oriented, communal issues.


Prof. Dr. Tobias Häberlein

Tobias Häberlein is professor of computer sciences at the college of Albstadt-Sigmaringen for the degree course communication and software technology, and a member of the board of the association Hochschule und Wissenschaft Baden-Württemberg e.V.


Lars Klingbeil

Lars Klingbeil a SPD- member of the German parliament. He is a speaker of the SPD-faction in the German Bundestag, specialised on network related issues and chairman of the enquete-commission Internet and digital society. Further, he is a member of the defence committee and deputy member in the board for culture and media.


Harald Lemke

Harald Lemke was a senior civil servant (permanent state secretary) for e-government and information technology in the Hessian Ministry of Interior. He is a member of the German Parliament’s enquête-comission Internet and digital society’ and a special representative for e-government and e-justice at Deutsche Post.


Dr. Konstantin von Notz

Dr. Konstantin von Notz is a member of the German Bundestag for the Green Party. He is a speaker of the Green-faction in the German Bundestag, specialised on network related issues and chairman of the enquete-commission Internet and digital society. Further, he is a member of the home affairs select committee.


Jimmy Schulz

Jimmy Schulz is a former member of the FDP in the Bundestag. He is a former member of the Interior Committee for the areas of IT security, IT infrastructure, IT management and Direct Democracy. Also he was a member of the German Parliament’s enqête-comission Internet and digital society and the sub-committee new media.


Halina Wawzyniak

Halina Wawzyniak is deputy of the Left Party in the German Bundestag. She is vice-chairman of the Left Party and legal advisor, as well as speaker of her faction in the Bundestag, specialised on network related issues. Further, she is chairman of the enquete-commission Internet and digital society and member of the judiciary committee.
